Every number on this site is computed live by a handful of engines, and those engines are pinned to reference values - from SciPy, from matplotlib, from exact identities - that they must reproduce before any change ships. This page lets your own machine audit them: press the button and your browser recomputes each value afresh, laying it beside its reference. Nothing is pre-rendered.

The checks are a distillation of the fuller suite that gates every change to the site: the special functions that shape the patterns and their zeros, the catalogue's bookkeeping down to the brim-full rule, the dispersion relation and its round trip, the natural frequencies from the energy balance for free, pinned and contact-angle walls, the damping - both its exact identities and its rates against the research solver - the damped Mathieu engine's conventions, growth and thresholds, the surface fields the renderer draws, the winning pattern the sandbox opens on, and the exact colours of the figures. Each row names its reference; the differences are printed, not summarised.

One honest distinction: this page proves the site computes its models faithfully. Whether the models match a real dish is a different question - the physics page says plainly where prediction ends, and friction in particular is a stated lower bound everywhere.
